The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), a social change organization, is dedicated to creating a social, political, and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists. Our vision is to make domestic violence a national priority, change the way society responds to domestic violence, and strengthen domestic violence advocacy at every level. The Positively Safe project at NNEDV addresses the intersection of HIV/AIDS and domestic violence, where we work to systematically address the unique challenges and barriers facing victims and survivors of domestic violence living with HIV/AIDS. To do this, Positively Safe partners with national, state, and local organizations to address the intersection, provides training and technical assistance, and develops critical resources on the co-occurrence of domestic violence and HIV/AIDS, including blogs, podcasts, and videos.
