Baby-Friendly USA, Inc.

Baby-Friendly USA (BFUSA) is the accrediting body and national authority for Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) in the US.  It is responsible for coordinating and conducting all the activities necessary to confer the Baby-Friendly designation to maternity care facilities that successfully implement the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and meet the BFUSA guidelines and evaluation criteria used for assessment and accreditation.
