Since 1996, the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) has worked to engage and amplify the voices of families in health care and public health services, systems, and policy by creating family centered measurement, data, tools and research focused on helping all children, youth and families thrive. The CAHMI has partnered with the United States Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) on the Data Resource Center for Child and Adolescent Health (DRC) to develop measures and disseminate data findings from the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH). The DRC provides easy-to-access point-and-click data that can be used to improve health outcomes and systems performance, especially through State Title V programs.
