Manager, Adolescent and Young Adult Health

Lesli Vipond joined the American Academy of Pediatrics in November 2023 and serves as the Manager, Adolescent and Young Adult Health. In this role, Lesli manages activities of the National Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health and Well-Being, which is housed at the AAP and funded by HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau. She is the primary point of contact for project partners, including the project’s National Coordinating Committee leadership team, and provides project management for all National Center activities. Prior to joining the AAP, Lesli oversaw substance misuse prevention efforts at Northwestern University and served as the Assistant Director of the Programs & Policy department at a regional non-profit where she provided oversight for multiple grant-funded initiatives. Lesli received an MSPH from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a BA from Vassar College.
