Faye Johnson was past president of the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions and is the Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition chapter organized in 1991 to reduce Florida’s high infant deaths and improve the lives of women before, during, and after pregnancy. Faye has an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Social Science, minor in Sociology. After 25 years of working with underserved populations and in administration and management, Faye has competencies in Preconception Health, Maternal and Child Health, Health Equity and Equality, Life Course Model, Racial Health Disparities, Social Determinants of Health, Administration and Quality Assurance. Faye values her service experiences and is humbled by the opportunity to serve others! Her awards include finalist for the 2017 Florida Times-Union Eve Award; the 2019 Jacksonville Business Journal Women of Influence Award; and the Florida Department of Children and Families Child Welfare Excellence Award.
