Angela Bumphus Corbin, PhD, MPH, is the Program Director for the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Surveillance program for the Tennessee Department of Health. Dr. Corbin is responsible for grant management, project collaborations and expanding the use of surveillance data. Dr. Corbin has served as Senior Program Officer with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation in the Health Equity and Strategy Office providing project management for Health Equity programs. Her career is marked by her unwavering commitment to mitigating the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases and addressing critical health issues, including Multiple Sclerosis, HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Western Kentucky University and received her Masters of Public Health and her PhD in Public Health from Walden University.
